Manage Plan and Billing

Choose a plan, follow your credit usage, and manage how your organization pays.

Manage Plan and Billing

Every organization is on a plan, and its use of the Context Engine is measured in credits. The Plan & billing page is where you change plan, follow the credits your workspaces use, download invoices, and keep your billing details and payment method up to date.

Opening Plan & billing requires the Owner or Admin role. Only owners can change the plan, the billing details or the payment method, and admins see the same information without being able to edit it.

Plans

FlexUsage-based billingThe Free plan's sign-up credits, pay-as-you-go for extra usage, production workspaces, online support

Sandbox workspaces are meant for building and testing, and production workspaces are meant for live patient data. Enterprise is arranged with our sales team, through Contact sales on the Enterprise card.

How usage is billed

Every kilobyte your workspaces form into memory or read back consumes credits. Memory formation is priced by the type of data processed (coded, narrative or vision), reads are charged when an agent queries the Context Engine, and navigation and schema calls are free.

Sign-up credits are granted once and don't renew. On Flex, the credits you use beyond them are charged at the end of each month to the card on file, with no commitment. On Free, an organization that uses all of its sign-up credits reaches its credit limit and is suspended until it upgrades.

Select Pricing details on the Flex card to see the current credit price and the rate for each type of data. You can also open that page directly at https://console.clinia.cloud/<org-slug>/settings/billing/pricing, where <org-slug> is the part of your Console URL that identifies your organization.

Upgrade to Flex

  1. In the sidebar, select Plan & billing.
  2. On the Flex card, select Upgrade to Flex.
  3. Enter your card, your billing address, the email that should receive invoices (it defaults to the organization owner) and, if you want it on invoices, your legal company name.
  4. Accept the General Terms of Service and select Confirm upgrade.

Production workspaces are available as soon as the upgrade completes, and usage is billed to the card you added. Upgrading also puts back in service any production workspace that was disabled when the organization last left Flex.

Follow your usage and invoices

The Credit usage panel shows the credits used since the current billing period started, broken down by category, and how many of your sign-up credits remain. The Invoices panel lists every invoice with its period, amount and status, and each one can be downloaded. Your first invoice arrives when your first billing period closes.

Update your billing details

  1. In the Billing details panel, select Edit.
  2. Change the billing address, the invoice email or the legal company name, then select Save changes.

The changes apply to future invoices and leave your payment method as it is.

Replace your payment method

  1. In the Payment method panel, select Replace.
  2. Enter the new card and select Replace card.

Future usage is billed to the new card. The previous card is only removed once the new one is in place, so if the replacement fails, your existing card stays on file.
