Organizations, Workspaces and Environments
Organizations, workspaces and their sandbox and production environments in the Clinia Console.
An organization holds workspaces, team members and a plan. A workspace holds its own patient data, credentials and API endpoints. Nothing crosses between workspaces, so a credential created for one workspace cannot be used to reach the data of another.
The Clinia Console at console.clinia.cloud is where you manage your organizations, workspaces and credentials.
Sandbox and production
Workspaces can be provisioned in two different environments. Environment is determined at creation and cannot be changed later.
- Sandbox is for building and testing your integration.
- Production is for live patient data.
The Free plan allows one sandbox workspace. Production workspaces require the Flex plan. Canceling Flex will disable your organization's production workspaces.
Manage organizations
You create your first organization the first time you sign in to the Console.
Create another organization
Open the organization switcher at the top of the sidebar and select Create organization.
Enter an Organization name. The Console fills in the URL slug from the name, which you can edit before you submit.
Switch between organizations
Open the organization switcher at the top of the sidebar and select the organization you want to work in.
Change the name or URL slug
Owners and admins can change an organization's name and URL slug.
The slug can hold lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, up to 64 characters, and cannot start or end with a hyphen. It is part of every Console URL for your organization, so changing it breaks existing bookmarks and shared links.
Delete an organization
You cannot delete an Organization from the Console. Contact Clinia support to delete your organization.
Manage workspaces
Owners and admins can create and delete workspaces. Every member can view them. See Team and roles to understand what each role can do.
Create a workspace
A type shows as locked when your plan does not cover it or when your organization has reached its limit for that type.
Find the Workspace ID and URL
Open your workspace from the Workspaces list. Its page shows the Workspace ID and the Workspace URL. The Workspace URL is the base URL your application sends API requests to.
Delete a workspace
Deleting a workspace permanently removes its data and every credential created for it. It cannot be undone.
On your workspace's row, select the delete icon, then select Delete workspace to confirm.
Provision Your First Workspace
Sign up for the Clinia Console, create an organization and a sandbox workspace, and get a credential your application can call the Context Engine with.
Authentication and Credentials
Create OAuth credentials for a workspace in the Clinia Console, exchange them for an access token, and rotate or delete them.
