Your Account
Change your name, manage how you sign in, and set up two-factor authentication and passkeys in the Clinia Console.
Your account belongs to you rather than to an organization, so its settings follow you into every organization you are a member of. Both account pages in the Clinia Console are in the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Profile holds your name. Security holds everything about how you sign in.
Change your name
Your name is how you appear across the Console, including in the member list of every organization you belong to.
Manage your sign-in methods
You can sign in with a password, with Google, or with both. The Sign-in methods section of the Security page lists the ones connected to your account.
To set a password for the first time, enter it in New password and Confirm new password under Password, then select Set password. To change it, fill in Current password as well, then select Save. A password needs at least 8 characters. The Console rejects any password that has appeared in a known data breach.
To connect Google, select Connect Google and complete the Google prompt. The Google account must use the same email address as your Clinia account, otherwise the Console refuses the link.
To remove a method, select Remove next to it and confirm in the dialog. If you signed in more than a day ago, the Console first asks you to confirm your password in a Confirm it's you dialog.
You must keep at least one sign-in method, so Remove only appears once both are connected. Removing your password also turns off two-factor authentication. The dialog asks for your password before it does so.
Set up two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication asks for a code from an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or 1Password, each time you sign in with your password. Two-factor authentication only protects the email/password sign in method.
On the Security page, under Authenticator app, enter your password in Confirm your password and select Set up authenticator app.
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, or enter the code shown below it manually.
Save the backup codes somewhere safe. They let you sign in if you lose access to your authenticator app. The Console shows them only during this setup.
Enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app in Verification code and select Confirm and enable.
The Console asks for a code on your next sign-in. To turn two-factor authentication off, enter your password in Enter your password to disable and select Disable two-factor authentication.
Add a passkey
A passkey lets you sign in with your device's biometrics or a hardware security key instead of a password. Under Passkeys on the Security page, select Add passkey and follow your browser's prompt. To stop using a passkey, select Remove next to it in the list.
Team and Roles
Invite colleagues to your organization, give them a role, and change or remove their access.
Synthetic Patient Datasets
Download and ingest fully synthetic FHIR R4 and C-CDA datasets — an older adult with COPD, a school-age surgical patient, an infant with one admission, and a ventilator-dependent preschooler born extremely preterm — to exercise the Clinia Context Engine without real patient data.
